"Clous de Paris" finish

The particular texture of the dial recalls the guillochage, a surface decoration technique adopted by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1786 and called "Clous de Paris". This consists of a multitude of tiny pyramids that create a fascinating overall geometric effect, providing this timepiece with a refined and elegant look.

Date display at six o'clock

In this model, the date hand is placed at 6 o'clock and marks the 31 days of the month on a special round scale embellished with a circular finishing. To make the dial easier to read, the first day of the month is highlighted in a contrasting blue colour, while the tip of the hammerhead hand is white.

Power reserve complication

The power reserve is one of the most useful mechanical complication and is widely appreciated by watch enthusiasts. This configuration is made possible thanks to placing this fourth hand directly on the main shaft of the movement, a true rarity in the sector.

A Tribute to Tradition

The caseback depicts the Basilica del Redentore in Venice, the masterpiece of the architect Andrea Palladio. The engraving, decorated with alternating sandblasting and satin finishing, recalls the symmetry and elegance of the typical shapes of neoclassical architecture.
