Where Craft Begins

The Making Of

Behind every detail lies a quiet harmony of skill, care, and intention. Each element is thoughtfully crafted, coming together in a delicate balance that speaks to both tradition and innovation

Stage I

Preparing the Surface

The journey of the Nereide Aureo dial begins with a tumbling process to achieve its signature rippled and intentionally imperfect surface. This stage ensures a unique texture for each dial, reflecting the artisanal character of the piece. The metal discs are carefully polished to prepare them for the subsequent application of the gold layer.

Stage II

24k Gold Galvanic Treatment

Once the surface is ready, the dial undergoes a galvanic treatment. During this process, the disc is immersed in an electrolytic solution containing pure 24k gold particles. An electric current ensures a uniform deposition of gold on the surface, creating a brilliant and durable layer that enhances the aesthetic and functional qualities of the dial.

Stage III

Rigorous Quality Control

After the galvanic process, each disc is subjected to detailed quality inspections. This multi-stage quality control process ensures that the gold layer is perfectly applied, with no inconsistencies or imperfections, guaranteeing an impeccable finish before moving to the next step.

Stage IV

Second-Level Assembly

In this phase, the dial is meticulously assembled with secondary components, such as the minute markers. Each element is carefully aligned and fixed to ensure precise placement, contributing to the overall functionality and elegance of the final product.

Stage V

Logo and Indices application

Artisans manually apply the indices and the Venezianico logo to the dial with great precision. This delicate operation requires steady hands and a keen eye for detail to achieve the perfect alignment, highlighting the craftsmanship and dedication that define the Nereide Aureo.

Stage VI

Final Inspection and Approval

The final step involves a thorough inspection of the assembled dial and its components. Every detail is scrutinized to ensure that the product meets Venezianico's high-quality standards. Only after passing this rigorous inspection is the dial approved for integration into the watch, ready to captivate with its timeless elegance.

The Golden Heritage

Wearing a watch with a gold-treated dial connects you to the opulence of Venetian artistry and the grandeur of the Serenissima Republic. Each glance recalls centuries of craftsmanship, where gold symbolized power and beauty. The rippled, radiant finish of the Nereide Aureo dial evokes the gilded mosaics of the Basilica of San Marco, celebrating Venice’s legacy of transforming precious materials into masterpieces.
