Aventurine is a difficult material to master due to the copper crystals that are inserted into the molten glass and evenly distributed during the slow cooling process. To create components with a high degree of precision, Aventurine is cold-cut, like a hard stone. Today, the production of this material remains very limited due to its complexity and the significant know-how required.
The deep blue of the aventurine against which a constellation of tiny fragments of light stands out evokes the dense mystery of the stars and the darkness of the cosmos. The dial’s construction is completed by the flange, finished with a sunburst pattern that adds further complexity to the whole.
The 39mm Nereide case embodies simple elegance and quality, with satin and polished finishes that offer the perfect balance between sophistication and practicality. The Tropic strap, created in the 1960s and 1970s for thin diving watches, won over diving enthusiasts with its lightness, flexibility and distinctive braided pattern with breathable holes. Reinterpreted for the Nereide, it is made of galvanized FKM rubber, combining the allure of a timeless classic with a material that guarantees durability and reliability.
We have introduced a quick release system integrated into the lug in our Tropic strap, featuring a small spring lever on the back. Simply pull it sideways to release the strap and reattach it easily, ensuring a stable and secure attachment. This system allows you to change straps in seconds, without the need for tools, offering convenience and reliability to easily adapt the style of your watch.
