Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 is a luminescent pigment activated by sunlight or artificial light. White in daylight, once charged it emits a vivid blue-green glow in low-light conditions, making it the top choice in modern watchmaking. In this watch, it’s applied both on hands and hour markers both on the fully luminescent bezel, ensuring excellent visibility even in the dark.
A quintessential nautical material, bronze was the metal used in the 19th century for the diving helmets, worn by Venetian divers during underwater repairs in the lagoon. Its composition made it ideal: it doesn’t rust, crack, or deteriorate when exposed to brackish water. Instead, it oxidizes slowly, developing a patina that protects its structure over time.
For the first time, we’re introducing a 39mm Nereide with a screw-down case back—designed for professional use. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the case back prevents direct contact between the skin and the bronze patina. It features an engraving of the Four Horses of St. Mark, a symbol of the deep significance this metal holds in Venetian artisanal culture.
The Tropic strap, created in the 1960s and 1970s for thin diving watches, won over diving enthusiasts with its lightness, flexibility and distinctive braided pattern with breathable holes. Reinterpreted for the Nereide, it is made of galvanized FKM rubber, combining the allure of a timeless classic with a material that guarantees durability and reliability.

The 39mm case offers compact, well-balanced proportions, with a 45.5mm lug-to-lug distance and a thickness of 10.65mm—engineered for a natural fit on the wrist. The satin-brushed finish enhances the surface texture, while the polished chamfer on the lugs sharply defines its contours. Completing the look, the Tropic strap in FKM rubber combines flexibility and durability, making it suitable for any setting.
Black Dial with "Gilt" details
We designed a dedicated dial that stays true to the Nereide style while introducing fresh details. The applied ingot-shaped indices feature a satin-brushed top surface that highlights their geometric form. For the first time, we’ve introduced gilt printing, inspired by 1950s dive watches. Alongside gold-toned text and minute markers, a thin circle frames the dial—paying tribute to vintage aesthetics while preserving a distinctive, modern identity.
